Connor came to us as a flight instructor, based in Dubbo. He passed his MEA Class Rating & Multi-Engine Instrument Rating on 11/7/21. Connor returned to Dubbo and immediately picked up work flying a Baron for a local charter operator before starting with Airlink on their PA31s in early 2022.

Ajay passed his Multi-Engine Instrument Rating flight test on 30/1/21, and Sohith passed his MEA Class Rating & Multi-Engine Instrument rating flight tests on 31/1/21. Ajay flew in outback SA before moving to Horn Island to fly the Islanders, and then to Alliance for a jet job.

Russell, an Army Chinook aircrewman from Townsville, passed his MEA Class Rating & Multi-Engine Instrument Rating flight tests on 26/1/21. In May 2021, he secured a charter pilot job in the NT. In early 2022, he moved to Bankstown to fly IFR freight operations for Macquarie Air, before moving to Pelican to fly the Jetstream 32, first as an FO and then as a Captain.

One of the toughest blokes you will ever meet, Nathan proved that a prosthetic upper limb is no barrier to a career in aviation by passing his MEA Class Rating & Multi-Engine Instrument Rating flight tests on 14/10/20! Nathan was worked as a flight instructor at the Northern Rivers Aero Club, before moving to Newcastle to fly a C303 for Matt Hall Racing.

Ryan is from Sydney. He passed his MEA Class Rating & Multi-Engine Instrument Rating flight test on 13/10/20. He then did his Pressurisation Endorsement in the P210 on 14/10/20.

In December 2019, we recommended Teegan for a job with Katherine Aviation, and she went on to fly charter in the NT for the company. Teegan then flew a King Air before moving on to fly the Fokker 100 in 2024.

Justin, from Melbourne, passed his Multi-Engine Instrument Rating flight test on 14/11/19. In February 2020, he secured a job as a Baron charter pilot in the Pilbara region of WA.

Josh Villani Leadbetter passed his MEA Class Rating & Instrument Rating flight tests in the first week of August 2019. Josh is went on to fly a Caravan & Chieftain for Macquarie Air on IFR freight operations out of Bankstown, before moving to the USA to fly regional jets for GoJet Airlines, and then the A320 with Frontier.

Victor is from Hong Kong. He passed his MEA Class Rating & Instrument Rating flight tests in the first week of August 2019. In December 2019, Victor was accepted into Cathay Pacific.

Sam Harrigan (pictured), from Coffs Harbour, passed his MEA Class Rating & Instrument Rating flight tests in the last week of July 2019. Dustin Curtis, from the Sunshine Coast, also passed his Instrument Rating flight test in the same week (he dodged the post flight test photo!). Sam is now flying for Coffs Skydivers, and Dustin secured a job flying a Shrike on IFR freight operations for GAM before moving to the NT to fly a PC12 for the RFDS.

Callum, from Perth WA, passed his MEA Class Rating flight test on 22/4/19 and his Multi-Engine Instrument Rating flight test on 23/4/19. In early May 2019, he started a job flying survey operations in WA, and now flies a PC12 for Aviair in WA.

Jake passed his MEA Class Rating & Multi-Engine Instrument Rating flight tests on 12/3/19. While he was training with us, we were contacted by a company that was looking for a pilot for it’s Chieftain. We recommended Jake for the job, and he got it! He flew the Chieftain out of Toowoomba, before moving to the US to fly regional jets and then a B777 on freight ops.

Sarah passed her Multi-Engine Instrument Rating flight test on 28/2/19. Two days later Sarah travelled to western QLD to start a new job with the Australian Agricultural Co, flying a C206. She has now returned to the Northern Rivers to operate her own flying school!

An instructor from Brisbane, Dan completed his MEA Class Rating & Multi-Engine Instrument Rating flight tests on 16/2/19 & 17/2/19. Dan continued to work as an instructor at Archerfield before being accepted into Air New Zealand on the Dash 8, and then returned to Australia to work for Jetstar on the A320.

Annie is a flight instructor from Brisbane, and completed her MEA Class Rating & Multi-Engine Instrument Rating flight tests on 17/2/19 & 18/2/19. Annie worked as an instructor at Archerfield before we recruited her back to work for us in late 2022!! Annie worked for us for 18 months before being picked up by Jetstar on the A320.

Stephen, from Perth WA, completed his Multi-Engine Instrument Rating flight test on 16/2/19. He flew skydivers in WA before moving to the NT to fly a C310 out of Darwin. In 2023 he started with Air North on the E190.

Phil, from Rockhampton QLD, completed his Multi-Engine Instrument Rating in January 2019. Within a week of completing this he had secured a job flying a Baron for Airspeed Aviation. Phil (right) is pictured here with his boss Ben Wyndham (left). Phil has since moved on to Skytrans to fly the Dash 8.

Cam is from Melbourne. He completed his MEA Class Rating & Multi-Engine Instrument Rating in January 2019. In March 2019, he secured a job as a charter pilot with Territory Air Services in Darwin before moving to Hardy Aviation and then on to GoJet Airlines in the USA.

From Wagga Wagga NSW, Tim passed his Multi-Engine Instrument Rating flight test in January 2019. Tim is now working for Airservices Australia in the ATC simulator.

Ed is from Port Douglas QLD. He completed his MEA Class Rating & Multi-Engine Instrument Rating flight tests in January 2019. In April 2019, we were asked to become a feeder for Macquarie Air. We recommended Ed to the company, and he went on to fly PA31, C208 and a PAC750 aircraft with the company on freight operations. He now flies King Airs out of Toowoomba.

Andrew completed his MEA Class Rating & Multi-Engine Instrument Rating in early January 2019. Andrew is now flying charter for Hardy Aviation in the NT.

Benny is from Brisbane, and passed his Multi-Engine Instrument Rating flight test in January 2019. Benny flew for Katherine Aviation in the NT, before moving to GAM on the Shrikes and then Dornier 228. He now flies corporate jets in the USA.

Brad, from Narromine NSW, passed his MEA Class Rating & Multi-Engine Instrument Rating flight tests in December 2018 & January 2019. Brad is now works as an ag pilot.

Jake Brumley is from the Gold Coast. He completed his MEA Class Rating & Multi-Engine Instrument Rating flight tests in early January 2019. He worked as a charter pilot (flying a Baron) & flight instructor at the Gold Coast.

Jonathan, a Lismore local, completed his MEA Class Rating & Instrument Rating flight tests in December 2018. In February 2019 he started flying with Ayers Rock Scenic Flights, where he went straight into multi-engine charter in the Partenavia. In January 2020, he started as an FO on the Corporate Air Saab 340s. In 2023 he moved to Jetstar on the A320.

Beau completed his MEA Class Rating & Multi-Engine Instrument Rating flight tests in November 2018. Beau went on to fly Caravans for Seair Pacific at the Gold Coast.

Warren (left) from Melbourne & Simba (right) from Brisbane completed their MEA Class Rating & Multi-Engine Instrument Rating flight tests in November 2018. Simba went straight to a charter job at Cairns and then Horn Island, and now flies for REX. Warren is working as a flight instructor in Victoria.

Luke Wallace from Armidale – MEA Class Rating & Multi-Engine Instrument Rating flight tests passed 4/11/2018. Luke went on to fly ME-IFR charter in the NT.

Multi-Engine Instrument Rating flight test passed 31/10/2018 by Dave McMonagle. Dave went on to fly a Chieftain on skydiving operations at the Gold Coast.

Daniel Morrissey from Sydney- MEA Class Rating & Multi-Engine Instrument Rating flight tests passed 26/10/2018.

Thomas Conditsis (left) & Navishkar Nand (right), both from Sydney. Both passed their Multi-Engine Class Rating & Multi-Engine Instrument Rating flight tests over the last couple of days in October. Shortly after completing his training, Thomas secured a job as a survey pilot. Nav worked as a flight instructor at the Gold Coast, before moving to GAM to fly the Shrikes.

Dave Hammelswang – MEA Class Rating & Multi-Engine Instrument Rating flight tests passed 30/9/2018. Dave is currently working as a station pilot in far north Queensland. In December 2019, he was upgraded to his company’s Citation jet.

Sam Mason from Brisbane – MEA Class Rating & Multi-Engine Instrument Rating flight tests passed 29/9/2018. Sam then secured a job as a charter pilot in Exmouth, WA.

Ben Blades from Toowoomba QLD – MEA Class Rating & Multi-Engine Instrument Rating flight tests passed on 16/8/18 & 17/8/18. Ben went on to fly a Chieftain for a private company at Toowoomba, before moving on to fly a King Air for Easternwell (now Ventia) in mid 2019.

Aaron Hayward (left) & Roland Dai (right) – both passed their Multi-Engine Instrument Rating flight tests in July 2018. Both came up from Sydney for their training. In early 2019, Roland was accepted into Cathay Pacific as a Second Officer on the B747-8F. Aaron flews Baron on charter in the NT before moving to the RFDS in WA.

MEA Class Rating & Multi-Engine Instrument Rating flight tests passed by these two in July 2018. Kieren Struck (left) flew Islanders on charter out of Horn Island before moving to the US to fly regional jets, and Tom Devlin (right) went on to fly Chieftains and Caravans on freight for Macquarie Air before moving on to Hinterland Aviation. In 2023, Kieren returned to fly A320s for Jetstar.

Couper Gross (left) from Melbourne and Sean Nieuwenhoven (right) from the Gold Coast, pictured with Flight Examiner Pete Schott (centre). Couper passed his Multi-Engine Instrument Rating flight test on 16/5/18, and Sean passed his Multi-Engine Class Rating flight test on the same day. Sean is now working as a charter pilot in the NT, and Couper is working as an instructor.

Pascal Cooney (left) from Melbourne and Josh Cocks (right) from Sydney passed their Multi-Engine Instrument Rating flight tests on 25/4/18 & 26/4/18 respectively! Josh also passed his Multi-Engine Class Rating flight test on 25/4/18. A week after completing his training with us, Pascal secured a multi-engine IFR job with Airspeed Aviation at Scone NSW, flying a Baron and then a Conquest. In June 2019 he moved to the USA to fly an ERJ145, and now flies B737 in the US. Josh is now working as a flight instructor in Adelaide.

Tyler passed his MEA Class Rating flight test on 4/4/18, and  Multi-Engine Instrument Rating flight test on 5/4/18. He now flies B737 for Ryanair in the UK.

Jason (left) is from Perth & Brett (right) is from Toowoomba. Both passed their MEA Class Rating flight tests & their Multi-Engine Instrument Rating flight tests in the third week of March 2018! Jason went on to fly charter in WA and then the NT, flying a C310, before moving to NJE on the Dash 8. Brett went on to fly a Cessna Caravan & a PC12 for a private company out of Toowoomba, before moving into a King Air in early 2021, and then on to the B747 with Kallita a year or so later.

Shaun (left) is a flight instructor from Melbourne and Dale (right) is a commercial pilot from Adelaide – both passed their MEA Class Rating tests on 26/2/18 & their Instrument Rating (MEA 2D 3D) flight tests on 27/2/18. Sarah is a local flight instructor, and completed her MEA Class Rating flight test on 27/2/18. Shaun continues to work as a flight instructor in Victoria, Dale works as a charter pilot in WA and Sarah flew for Australian Agricultural Co before returning to the Northern Rivers to operate her own flying school!

Suresh is from Nepal! He completed his Multi-Engine Class Rating flight test on 26/1/18, and his Multi-Engine Instrument Rating flight test on 29/1/18. Suresh subsequently secured a job with an airline in Nepal, and is now flying an ATR72 around the Himalayas.

Jake is from Melbourne & Harry is from Sydney. Both completed their Multi-Engine Class Rating flight tests on 26/1/18, and their Multi-Engine Instrument Rating flight tests on 27/1/18. Harry went on to fly charter in the NT, and now flies a Dash 8 for Skytrans. Jake works as an instructor in Victoria.

Sammy travelled from Darwin and Jock travelled from Coffs Harbour to train with us. Both passed their Multi-Engine Instrument Rating flight tests in the third week of December 2017. Jock also passed his Multi-Engine Class Rating test in early December, and both completed PXS endorsements on the P210 while they were here. Jock flew charter in the NT before moving to Qantaslink on the Dash 8, and Sammy is pursuing a career in the Army.

Nathan & Max travelled from Sydney to train with us. Both passed their Multi-Engine Instrument Rating flight tests on 30/10/17. Nathan went on to fly a Cirrus IFR for a private company, before securing work as a flight instructor, and Max went on to fly Caravans on IFR operations in Indonesia.

Kurtis passed his Multi-Engine Class Rating flight test on 3/10/17, and then (in spite of an east coast trough!) passed his Multi-Engine Instrument Rating flight test on 15/10/17!! Kurtis completed his CPL soon after, and then began working as a charter pilot at Derby, WA.

Liam passed his Multi-Engine Class Rating flight test on 15/8/17, and then passed his Multi-Engine Instrument Rating flight test on 28/8/17. Liam completed his Commercial Pilot Licence a few weeks later, before securing a job as a charter pilot at Broken Hill, flying a PA32, Partenavia & Baron. He then moved to Darwin to fly a C402 for Chartair, before heading to REX where he is now a Saab Captain.

Adann passed his Multi-Engine Instrument Rating flight test on 28/8/17. Adann travelled from Sydney to train with us. He went on to fly Saab 340s for REX, before joining Jetstar on the A320 in 2024.

Adam passed his Multi-Engine Instrument Rating flight test on 20/7/17. Adam took his new rating to Port Macquarie and then Mt Isa, and was flying P68, Chieftain & Caravans on IFR charter before starting with GAM on their Aero Commanders. In mid 2019, he started with Air Nauru on the B737. In 2023, he started with Qantas mainline on the B737.

John passed his Private Instrument Rating flight test on 2/7/17. John is a consultant radiologist, and plans to use his new rating to fly himself to clinics at locations such as Tamworth and Orange.

Marcus passed his Multi-Engine Class Rating flight test on 12/6/17, and then passed his Multi-Engine Instrument Rating flight test on 15/6/17. Marcus came to us as the Chief Pilot of Major Blue Air in Botswana, Africa, where he had been flying Cessna Caravans. He went on to fly as a Captain on Dash 8s in Papua New Guinea, before securing a job with FlyDubai on their B737 fleet.

Multi-Engine Instrument Rating flight test passed by Tom on 16/5/17. On completion of his instrument rating, Tom was offered employment with FAST Aviation as line charter pilot. In February 2018, he started with QantasLink on the Dash 8-300. In 2023 he transferred to Jetstar on the A320.

Private Instrument Rating flight test passed on 5/5/17. Nathan subsequently went on to complete his MEA Class Rating & Multi-Engine Instrument Rating with us in 2018. Nathan now flies a C337 for the company he works for as an executive at Dubbo.

Private Instrument Rating flight test passed on 7/2/17. Butch manages an organic beef enterprise at Blackall QLD, and planned to use his rating to travel between properties and to cattle sales.
